Mr. Amos Dayan Wejuli Ngolobe
Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions (Management Support Services)

Mr. Amos Ngolobe was born on the 29th November, 1955 in Busia, Uganda. He is married with 4 children. Mr. Amos Ngolobe obtained an EACE Certificate from Nabumali High School in 1970-1973, after which he obtained an EAACE Certificate from the same school in 1974-1975. He then joined Makerere University Kampala in 1976 where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) Second Class Degree in 1979. He joined the Law Development Centre, Kampala in 1979 where he obtained a Diploma in Legal Practice in 1980. He enrolled as an Advocate of Courts of Judicature in 1982.

Mr. Amos Ngolobe also holds an MBA degree majoring in Strategic Management from the East and Central African Management Institute (ESAMI) "The Business School"

Mr. Amos Ngolobe started work at the Ministry of Justice in the Department of Public Prosecutions in 1980 as a State Attorney and held this position till 1983 when he was posted to Jinja as the Resident State Attorney till 1984. In 1984 he was posted to the office of Resident State Attorney Kabale till 1988 when he was appointed Assistant Registrar General (Registrar General's Dept).

He was then promoted to the post of Senior State Attorney and transferred to the Department of Constitutional Affairs. In 1991 he was further promoted to Principal State Attorney and transferred to the Department of Public Prosecutions in 1992. In October 1995 he was promoted to the post of Senior Principal State Attorney. On the 28th day of June 2002, he was promoted to the post of Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions in charge of management support services which position he holds todate.

Mr. Amos Ngolobe is the Deputy DPP in charge of Management Support Services. He is also the Accounting Officer in the Directorate of Public Prosecutions. Mr. Ngolobe is also the Component Manager-Computerization and Documentation under the Netherlands-Uganda Support to Public Prosecutions project.
